This notice explains how nChain AG (company number CHE-423.067.388) uses cookies and similar technologies on nchain.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels, local storage and scripts that read device information, work in a comparable way. This notice uses “cookies” for all of them.
- First-party cookies are set by nchain.com.
- Third-party cookies are set by other domains, such as Google or LinkedIn.
2. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies.
- Before you choose, and if you click Reject: only strictly necessary cookies are used. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn and Microsoft Clarity are not loaded at all.
- If you click Accept: those tags are loaded, and they may set the cookies listed in section 4.
We use Google Consent Mode v2 in “basic” mode: Google’s tags are not loaded and send nothing until you accept.
Your choice is stored for 6 months. After that, we ask again. You can change your mind at any time:
The same “Cookie settings” link is at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics and marketing cookies that our site can reach and reload the page without those tags.
Cookies set on third-party domains can only be removed by you or by the provider. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
3. Strictly necessary cookies (always on)
These cookies are needed to provide the site securely and to remember your cookie choice. They do not require consent.

The contact form’s spam protection (ALTCHA, self-hosted) does not use cookies or any third-party service. Cloudflare’s cookie policy: cloudflare.com/cookie-policy.
4. Analytics and marketing cookies (only if you accept)
These are loaded through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-NL7BLGJ, provided by Google). Tag Manager does not set cookies itself, but it loads the tags below. Cookie names and durations are the typical values documented by each provider. Providers may change them.
