RESPONSIBILITIES
We expect you to
- Migrate services to Kubernetes from other Container systems.
Assist with devlopement of CI/CD IAC across several projects.
Develop and maintain Ansible-managed infrastructure.
Support Development and QA teams with Kustomize and Kubernetes yaml guidance.
Assist with monitoring of production and pre-production environments, including alert setup and response.
Participate in requirements gathering and refinement for automation delivery.
Participate in team and peer improvement plans.
There will be limited but important work maintaining and developing in-house software, so a history of software development will be advantageous.
Experience & REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for
Experience
Degree or equivalent qualification, and/or have significant relevant experience
2+ years EKS/Kubernetes experience
EKSTerraform/Terragrunt experience
FluxCD/ArgoCD experience from bootstrap to production maintainece
Ansible playbook development experience
Skills
Strong understanding of AWS services in particular, VPC, ECS.
Jenkins administration
Jenkinsfile development
Strong understanding of Git
Bash scripting
Exceptional writing and communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Teamworking skills
Advantageous
Linux system administration
Experience with Server Hardware (bare metal) deployments and networking
Understanding of blockchain technology and solutions
Python, Go Lang, Node JS development experience
Github Actions/GitLab Pipelines experience
AWS IAM administration experience
