Overview

The Finance Team is looking for a qualified Accountant/Finance Manager with at least three years of professional experience. The position will be full-time based in Zug, Switzerland, supporting our teams in Zug and London.

This role will be integral to the business and the department as we continue to evolve and grow from an ambitious start-up to a leading provider of enterprise grade Blockchain solutions and IT consultancy.

The new Team member is eager to learn, loves taking initiative and is excited to collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds and countries. You will play a key role in managing and helping to develop solid financial processes across multiple entities within our Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We expect you to

  • Management reporting: prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including variance analysis to budget. We target a monthly ‘workday 5’ reporting deadlines
  • Bookkeeping: maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including Accounts Payable and Expense processing. Both are automated using Stampli, Rydoo and NetSuite.
  • Audit Support: assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing the necessary documentation and support.
  • Process Improvement: challenge and then contribute to implementing efficient financial processes in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams including HR, PMO and external providers to ensure eSiciencies and to better inform financial performance.
  • Multitasking: manage multiple priorities effectively, adjusting to shifting business needs and deadlines.
Experience & REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for

  • Swiss certified Public Accountant, CPA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of professional accounting experience.
  • Strong background of Swiss GAAP FER, UK GAAP, and IFRS are a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and presenting financial reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work eSectively across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Professional English proficiency, with native/C1 level German is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and adapt to new challenges.
  • Experience with NetSuite is ideal but not essential.
  • Experience in IT consulting, or SAAS (Software as a Service) background, is a plus.
